God is Love!

Divine Love can rake a dunghill and find a diamond’ – C.H. Spurgeon  There are many such diamonds who have been rescued by the Love of God from dunghills of life!  I am one from the dunghills and one thing I know that I’m aren’t loved because I am valuable…. but I’m valuable because Father God loves me!

Yahweh YahShuah… come dwell in me!

You love me so richly, in me You abide,
You care for me abundantly, I’m Your Child!
I know for sure You can’t do without me,
Your love & compassion has no boundaries!

I am the apple of Your eye,
I am your morning sunshine!
Every moment Your eyes keep on searching me,
Every breath I take is a proof of You in me!

You are Lovely, Majestic, Awesome… Holy,
I’m just a dust of Your feet so ordinary,
Creator of Universe, so much You care for me!
Who am I that Your heart beats for me?

I love You O my Lovely,
I Love You Majestic, Awesome God so Holy!
I need You Yahweh, Yahshuah, You are mine!
I need You Elohim, Jehovah, El-Shadai!

Our relationship surpasses every understanding,
Our Love story exceeds every human dealings,
We crave for each other day-in and day-out,
Its Yahweh’s unending Love in me without doubt!

Every night You make me lie on your lap,
Every time I turn you hold me in the gaps,
When Your strong breath beats on my forehead
I know You’ve hugged me unto your heartbeats!

Every moment spent with You is eternity,
Every new breath in me tells a new story,
O how I hop into your mighty secure arms,
Heavenly bliss is the smell of your purity around!

Ecstasy is the depth of your profound Love…
Your thoughts are enough to raise my Spirit above!
In my heats vacuum, unending love You release,
Without You my Lord, my soul will cease to live!

You have captured my soul, my spirit and my heart
Let Your ‘Yah’ from me, YahShuah never depart,
In Thy presence I want to live – every moment,
Come and reside forever in me, I’ve built You a tent!

Thanks and Praises and Worship and Honour,
Of my Tent for You O Lord, are the four pillars,
Love and desire are my Tents covering,
Hasten my Lord, make my heart Your dwelling!

As everyone who seek You, already know,
You are seated in Your Majesty in heavenly glow,
Let them who seek you more and more….
Know that in my heart’s residence, You overflow!

‘God is Love’ – None of that other attributes of God would be of any benefit to mankind if Love was not at the very core of who God is!  His perfection and entireness can be summed up into one magnificent word… ‘God is Love’…and because He is Love He cannot be anything else! 1John 4:8 – whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love’

1John 4:16 – And so we know and rely on the Love God has for us. God is Love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him’. Who can ignore John 3:16 which sums up Gods heart full of love for all His creations and especially for all those of His creations who have turned away from Him “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in His shall not perish but have eternal life’

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). – And why is love the greatest? Because God IS love – everything else is a consequence of the nature of God.

We have FAITH because God IS love, and love will never cease, because God will never cease. And we have HOPE because God IS love. But if God was not Love through and through, then faith and hope in God would be misplaced. It is the love, which is at the core of the unchangeable nature of the heart of God, that gives us our confidence.

This is the love which truly is in the spiritual core of every human being – it is contained within the seed of eternity which God planted in the heart of every man and woman. It is placed in the very heart of every man and woman as we were being created in His holy hands… so in searching for love we may find Him!

To finish with, there was a day when a teacher of the law asked Jesus which was the most important commandment. This was Jesus’ reply: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these (Mark 12:30-31).

Proven & Protected in His Power!

Every accident has scratches, every fire has ashes, every past has pains, every hurts has aches, every tragedy has a trauma!

I was trying to justify my traumatic situations in life to get out of them and be free…! The accident, the fire, the past, the hurts and the tragedy can be dealt with and forgotten, but the scratch, the ashes, the pain and aches and the trauma remains!

There is no problem in forgiving people when you are in Christ, but the aftermath or the trauma of every situation is a difficult to deal with or release – ‘HOW’ remains a question! When such questions arises and there are no suitable answers as every human solution differ from person to person and situations to circumstances, the only way out is ‘At The Feet of Christ YahShuah’!

As I was pleading and begging with the Lord to take away my past pain and traumatic situations and requesting for help to justify them in human understanding so that it makes ‘release’ easier,  I was reminded of a story of the mother and the son and how the son falls into a pond of crocodiles and straight away into its open mouth. The mother tries her best to get the son out of crocodiles mouth and applies all her force but in the bargain the son’s hand is ripped and bruised awfully!

But the ultimate joy remains… the little boy was out of crocodiles mouth. Now the pain of the ripped and bruised arm was a proof that the little boy is out of it and is still ‘alive’!

I’m sure many are experiencing what I am going through and seeking a way to get out of traumatic experiences in life! Well just be known that if every tragedy in your life has left back a trauma, it means you are out of it and are still ALIVE today!

…and I’m also sure the below poem will surely bless you,

I’m out of it & ALIVE today!

I remember a story,
of a mother & a child,
Who falls in a pond defiled,
…full of famished crocodiles!

The mother then hastens,
to save her only son,
She gathers all her strength, yet worn-out,
In pain she tries to pull the boy out!

She sees his arm in the beasts mouth,
stomping her heart she pulls it out,
With the force she falls and bangs the back,
…but sees the child is perfect in her lap!

At last, in her arms, the child is saved!
How great was the  joy, a  mother paved,
The child is now back clinging to  her arms
…but with a bruised, ripped and broken arm!

Bitter pain & tears of the child in this deal,
but the mother still rejoiced without measure!
knowing the child’s bruises one day will heal,
..as in her arms she carried her real treasure!

I realized the similarity of my pain & groans,
How YahShuah descended from his majestic throne,
With love & compassion, my life he caught,
and pulled me out of the crocodile’s mouth!

He saw me caught in the crocodile’s trap,
My heart on the evils jaws entrapped,
Trying to grasp me fully to death!
Saved by my Saviour’ s timely help.

Heaven is now adorned with joy around,
Singing to celebrate as victory unbound!
Here I am in pain… bitterly crying out,
With a bruised, ripped & a broken heart!

Christ YahShuah held me tightly to his bosom
My tears became a part of his emotions,
He knows my brokenness will be healed one day…
& rejoiced with heaven’s glory that I’m saved today!

Yes, I’m out of it and still ALIVE today!

‘He reached down from on high and took hold of me; and drew me out of deep waters’ (Psalm 18:16)

I’m Proven and Protected in His Power!
I’m nourished and nurtured in His Presence!
I’m filled and fulfilled in His Promises!

I was broken to be filled with His love,
I was re-created to be raised above,
I’m being filled in Him in wholesome,
I will be used until His Kingdom comes!

I’m a vessel that has been broken, taken apart, recreated and made new to carry the OIL of the Holy One, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing!

Repair My Wings O Lord!

Freedom I’m free…
Now no more in the cage-tree,
But forgotten to fly, I’m no more flappy,
Ages in the prison, since birth in a treason,
Yes, I’ve forgotten what flying can be!
I just know not how to walk free!

In slavery for 400 years,
Israelites too lived in fear,
They were loosened by God’s power…
But still walked in their past fears,
They knew not how to walk free,
They forgot what freedom could be!

Like a bird in a cage, held in for ages,
Though the cage doors have opened high,
I walked out victoriously …but could not fly!
I’ve forgotten what flying can be!
I just know not how to walk free!

When the son makes you free,
You are free indeed!
Lord when you have liberated me…
Teach me to fly too, please!
I’ve forgotten what flying can be!
I just know not how to walk free!

I know I have wings,
But know not what they can do,
I see others fly… But how do they do?
All laugh and say,
Isn’t she a bird like us in all her ways!
But Lord during my prison days…
My wings have been slayed!

With Your Power – please repair my wings,
In Your Presence – let me hear Your calling
In Your Promises – let me fully cling!
In this battlefield –  please give me a mind like you,
In this wilderness – no more it would do!

Jehovah my God, please teach me to fly,
Please reveal to me… how high is really high,
Let me arise, let me fly, let me soar in your sky!

As I wait  …I will wait in Victory!
As I fight …the battle belongs to Thee!
As I rise …an Eagle I will be!
As I soar …You will lead me!
As I live …for Your glory it would be!

A Love Poem for Jesus!

I rest in the greens as the morning unwraps,
In His glorious creations, captivated & trapped…

The secured mountains meet the healing skies,
The graceful green grass & chaste clouds arise,

The brook in its course clatter His praises,
Unblemished Creations in the Creator rejoices!

The smell of the sheer mist is perfect,
The power of His wonder in absolute subject!

I lay there in the majesty of His created beauty,
Unending joy and His adore within me…

The lingering breeze caressed me as I dwelt,
The pure warmth of His embrace was heartfelt!

I did beheld His presence from afar…
The fragrance of His Love was extremely fervor,
As the wind blew the zeal of His ardor!

Even before He could enfold me…
His creations upheld me in their bosom,
…& lifted me up to satisfy my Saviour’s passion!

Even before, my eyes, I could release…
In a dream or reality to locate my belief,
I saw my Jesus right in front of me!

Even before I could awake my slumber…
& rouse my imaginations picture,
In His mighty arms, my Jesus beheld me!

Even before my tears surged & bliss bound,
& all my past became just a shadow around,
In His firm hold, My Jesus hugged me !

I love you so much…Jesus, I love you so much!

Loosened, Liberated …Lifted!

Dear WordPress,

I’m back….!

If Christ Jesus therefore shall make you  free, you shall be free indeed- Jn 8:36
“F r e e d o m” what a word this is! We endeavor for it, we fight for it and battle to gain it …an ultimate goal for every mankind! …One day, with one finger and one touch of God I was loosened and liberated completely!

Prison doors are open…
All shackles have been broken!
Freedom… now I’m free,
Liberty… belongs to me!

Now Me I can be!
Free to be Sharmila…
I am free to be me!

I’m released, I’m loosened, I’m liberated, I’m free,
…Completely!

Now…smile my Heart smile,
Return from exile,
Spirit take hold of my soul,
and make me total,
make me whole!

Oh past, don’t grieve for me, for now I am free,
I’m following the path God laid for me!
To be loved  by Him and embraced by me…
God wants me now, He has set me free!

Freedom…
Fill me, fulfill me, overflow me!

Now Precious words…
Surface from my heart’s depth,
Priceless expressions…
Surface love, surface life in my breath!

Purity, clarity, divinity…take over,
Re-create me…. to an untouched river,
Re-fashion me… to a virgin shore,

Again, let me sail…
On the waters of my emotions,
Again, let me inscribe…
The language of my passion!
Again, expressions express…
& take me to my rest!

Freedom… now I’m free,
Now me, I can be!
Free to be Sharmila ..I am free to be me!
Free to be what God wants me to be!

Freedom take over…
Like a whirlwind to another shore,
Where my Saviour waits for me for sure,
Much endured …no detour,
Now I belong to Him forever!

Let His plans …discover me!
Let His purpose …empower me!
Let His will …establish in me!
Freedom …now I’m free!
Free to be what God wants me to be!

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…”  Gal 5:1a  (NIV)

Pour upon me….Your forgiveness & Mercy! (Psalm 51)

According to your unfailing Love,
Pour your mercy on me from above!
According to your great compassion,
Lord, blot out my transgressions!
Please cleanse me completely from my sins
& wash away all my inequity stored within!

My transgressions are always before me,
I have sinned against the most Holy!
Lord you are justified when you judge,
Cause in your sight inequity I’ve smudged!

So sinful from birth was I,
Its truth from within that you desire!
Surely I was sinful at birth…
But wisdom in the innermost depths you worth!

Wash me and I’ll be whiter than the snow,
Cleanse me with hyssop more and more,
Let the bones you’ve crushed rejoice,
Let me hear again gladness and joy!

O God, create in me a pure heart!
Renew a spirit within me firm & steadfast,
Blot out all my transgressions & inequity,
Abba Father, have mercy on me & pity!

From your presence do not cast me out!
Holy Spirit reign in me, please don’t depart,
Restore in me the joy that Salvation brings…
of your righteousness my tongue will forever sing!

Save me from bloodguilt, Oh God who saves!
Then I will teach transgressors your ways!
I will testify your kindness & give glory to you!
And sinners will surely turn back to you!

What can I give you in exchange of my sins?
You do not delight in sacrifice or burnt offerings!
I know you reside in heavens & in repentant hearts!
So here I lay my broken and a heart …contrite,
For truly truly I know, my God will never despise!

“But Jesus stooped down, and with His finger wrote on the ground, as though He heard them not. So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground.”

“And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.”

“When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?”

“She said, No man, Lord.”

“And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” (John 8:2-11 KJV)

Why Wilderness Works?

The word “wilderness” is defined as a desert place, a place uncultivated or lived in, a state of disorder. Wildernesses are places of difficulties, pressures, insufficient resources, oppositions! Why Wilderness is a must for every Christians …it is in the wilderness we are renewed, re-connected and re-fuelled!  …Wilderness humbles us, proves our character, teaches us that we need more than bread, disciplines us for maturity and self-control and reveals to us that it was not our own strength that made us prosper!

Abraham, Joseph, Joshua, Moses, David, Elijah, John the Baptist, Paul the apostle – and even Jesus Himself – all had to go through this “wilderness” experience. Very often it lasted for years and years. Why then should we be surprised if it happens to us???

Moses had to spend 40 years as a simple shepherd in the wilderness before God would allow him to lead His people! Imagine if every Christian leader had to spend that long in the wilderness before God would allow them to lead His people! It is almost impossible to imagine the depths of despair and death to all his dreams and hopes that Moses went through during this time. The wilderness is vital for anyone who is wanting to bring fresh manna to God’s people. In ‘wilderness’, what you’ll discover will be wonderful… what you’ll discover is yourself!

Our mighty God is more interested in our Character then our Comfort! I could not see my own weaknesses until circumstances revealed them all!

When many things hindered my progress – my impatience was revealed
When I was forced to do something menial – my pride was revealed
When I was forced to do something I never desired – my stubbornness was revealed
When I was required to do more than what I was able – my lack of faith was revealed
When I could not have my own way – my immaturity was revealed
When I was forced to do something against my personal ambitions – my self-will was revealed
When I was forced to serve others – my self-centeredness was revealed!

I know only two men in the bible who were promoted to becoming a king without the struggle of ‘The Wilderness’.
• King Saul—consumed by jealousy
• King Solomon—consumed by his own passions

Are you someone who has been going through such desert experience, my friend? Be encouraged! Look up, for your deliverance draws near. God only ever sends His children through such experiences when there is a great purpose to it. He will even shut us up in a kind-of ‘prison’ for a time so we cannot escape the process. The test of ‘wilderness’ produces supernatural work of God, we receive assurance of God’s faithfulness, and are transformed into mature Christians with the ability to endure!

After the flood in Genesis …a new creation begins!
After Moses converses with God …the covenant is renewed!
After Israel’s wandering in the wilderness …they entered into the Promised Land!
After Elijah’s journey …God strengthens him to resume his prophetic ministry!
After Jesus’ temptation …He begins His public ministry!
After His ascension …the promise of Holy Spirit is manifested!

Even though the Israelites saw all the signs and wonders God worked on their behalf, they still wanted to go back! “And they complained to Moses…Why did you bring us out of Egypt?” (Ex 14:11). They didn’t wanted to stop the journey, they wanted to reverse it. My temptation too in the wilderness was similar and more idolatrous and seductive …a nostalgia for the past! The past looked more attractive, more secured and safer. Though I have walked on the stony and thorny paths of past, I was still finding it attractive was precisely the fact that it is the past! I am indeed to remember the past and bring it into the present in order to help me live into the future …but here I was dragging the present into past and avoiding a blessed future!

I always asked myself, “why could God not have led Israel directly from the sea-crossing into Canaan”? I never got the answer then. Now when I ponder on my walk via wilderness I knew it was an extended period of ‘Attitude Adjustment’! God never used short-cuts for His people! My wilderness was a place of testing, a place where Yahweh, the God who frees from every oppression, called me to a whole different view of reality and installed a new set of values and a totally different style of life!

My brothers and sisters, be very happy when you are tested in different ways. You know that such testing of your faith produces endurance. Endure until your testing is over. then you will be mature and complete, and you won’t need anything. (James 1:1-3)

The wilderness is a place of extremes and choices are more clear-cut. Food, water, clothing & shelter are essential for physical survival. Security and stability are essential for social survival. These are legitimate needs but in wilderness they becomes temptations for Israel’s faith. They could not maintain their faith in the God who parted the red sea and brought them safely out of Egypt and they failed at many tests. They could not unlearn so quickly and easily all the old values and habits of their previous way of life! Jesus in the wilderness was also tempted about food and unlike Israel , He kept His faith in God. What about me and you?

It is easy to praise and worship the Lord ….when blessed with an educated, good earning husband/wife by your side, intelligent children before you, faithful relations and friends behind you! To have all this is rightful but how many of us can really honour Him in our loneliness and aloneness?

It is easy to Praise and Worship Him  …when blessed with a healthy body, intelligent minds, talents and an outstanding life.  To have all this is legitimate   …but how many of us in sickness and in pain can truly praise Him again and again?

It is easy to Praise and Worship Him …when blessed with a high debt-free salary, lands, houses and properties. To have all this is justifiable  …but how many of us in poverty and scarcity still worship Him completely?

We may strongly want to and really intend to follow God …many forces still remain within and without, to pull us and push us towards our rightful and genuine wants and needs. Is our service to God the true foundation of our life …or are we extending our own wilderness?

Are you in the wilderness my friend?
Don’t give up, don’t be cast down or rend,
In His presence and promises …lets blend,
On the other side lies ‘the promised land,
To our Saviour Jesus if only we can hang!

Are you in the wilderness my friend?
Ignore people in your life-like Job’s friend!
Fulfill all your tasks and assignments,
Be active, be praying, be prepared,
Abide in Him in, just don’t be afraid!

Are you in the wilderness’ my friend?
Be courageous, be still, it’s not the dead-end,
Ignite your faith in Him, …its only a bend,
Get more closer to Jesus as you would do,
He will surely see you through and through!

Are you in the wilderness my friend?
Get away from all those hurts and offends,
Put your mind & heart in order & amend!
Humble yourselves before the Lord…
Be still and know that He alone is God!

Are you in the wilderness my friend?
Do not panic on the sinking sand,
All belongs to God and not man,
Always stick to the ‘word’, let it prune you,
You WILL experience His blessings and breakthrough!

Psalm 63:1-4  –  O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.

I am God’s Masterpiece!

God makes a form of me!
His holy hands creates who I can be,
..& it seems years have come to pass,
And every piece was creatively stuck

But I still wonder who am I,
The work is unfinished, it’s not a lie,
I am still ‘work in progress’ it says!

He alone is the Potter…I’m just the clay

Now I will wait patiently to see..
All that He desires to create in me!
What an opportunity to be His creation,
He alone creates work of Magnum Opus!

His unfailing love carries me each day,
There is fire & carvings, pulls & pain,
…here I am still, still knowing ‘He is God’!
In His hands I will never be destroyed!

Every day is full of unexpected changes
And accordingly He always re-arranges
Only He understands what’s in store,
His creation can never be a bore!

When will He add the final touch?
Time is flying so much fast…
How can now even eternity matter?
It’s an immense pleasure in His hands to loiter!

Now at last the work is complete,
The sculpture is done for all to see,
His holy hands perfected what I was to be,
with unfailing love He created me!
Look for yourself …I’m God’s Masterpiece!

The Power of Forgiveness!

Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die!

It is the single most popular poison that the enemy uses against God’s people and its is one of the deadliest poisons a person can take spiritually. Nobody is happy living in unforgiveness, bitterness and anger as this poison leads to a loss of self direction, depressions,  many sickness and in some instances a loss of life!

In Christianity it is impossible to grow in faith and receive God’s promises if hurts, bitterness, anger, are not ‘given’ unto God and hence the process called ‘for’ ‘giving’ – for giving unto the Lord!

There is no Christian who is a Christian who is not ignorant, who has not acknowledged, who has not perceived, and who has not practiced ‘forgiveness’! Yet I’ve taken this topic to meditate this time as this was the biggest enemy block on my agenda to make Christ as my personal Saviour! How could I ever miss ‘forgiveness’ on my blog which led me to actual tracks of my salvation!  Years of bible reading and praying would not help, nor attending different churches helped me out of my mess …. But ‘forgiveness’ did!

I aimed unforgiveness to almost all but eventually ended up creating the greatest wound on my own self!  Years and years of bitter grudges, hatred, hurts were like piled up garbage and all that I was living with was a superfluous and an artificial Jesus I made for myself to suit my needs with an ‘I know everything’ attitude!  My emotional build-up became like a trash that really stinked outside and I was surrounded with every other mess around me!

As one woman of God has said … unforgiveness is like a garbage which always attracts flies! The flies around my messed up garbage was …loss of relationships, loss of money, loss of mind, loss of peace, loss of hope, loss of health and loss of my own identity! The enemy had bounded me on all sides and I never knew where I was heading!

Clear the garbage and the flies will flee! But we even being Christians try  to find out and study about the flies rather than the garbage; I wanted to know more about the flies existing, their place of origin, how they have reached and how to ward them off rather than actually cleaning my garbage!

In a complete and uttermost mess of life with a dam-like situation a man of God came to my rescue and put me on a right track of forgiveness. What others did against me was one thing but Satan’s bait of unforgiveness did much harm to me that what actually others did!   How could I continue to allow somebody else’s mess to trouble me even more? Have they not done enough damage that by clinging myself to those wounds get even more infected spiritually?   I started forgiving one by one, it took me days and months… but here started my actual walk with Jesus Christ!

A little girl was asked what forgiveness is… she gave a beautiful answer …’It is the fragrance that flowers give when they are crushed’.

I started the forgiving process… I forgave and instantly got a job,  I forgave and received many healing,  I forgave and immediately gave up all my medications completely,  I forgave and chronic illnesses left my body,  I forgave and was able to clear off my financial mess,  I forgave and I received God’s love,  I forgave and I was baptized in Holy Spirit,  I forgave and there was an abundance of spiritual blessings,  I forgave and uncountable things started settling in my life.  In the bargain, my Lord God Almighty had ‘forgiven’ me too!

Forgiveness now has become one of the top most meter gauge on my spiritual thermometer! What can Unforgivness actually do?

  • Unforgiveness prevents God from forgiving our sins (Mathew 6:15)
  • Unforgiveness shows we really don’t love Jesus (John 15:12/John 14:24)
  • Unforgiveness opens up doors to tormentors (the enemy) (Mathew 18:23-35)
  • Unforgiveness blocks God from answering our prayers (Mathew 11:24-25)
  • Unforgiveness defiles a person (Hebrew 12:15)
  • Unforgiveness keeps a person out of heaven (Mathew 7:12,21/1John 3:14)
  • Unforgiveness prevents us from being fruitful spiritually (John 15:5)
  • Unforgiveness opens doors to curses (Deut. 27:26)

We don’t have to live in unforgiveness because we think others don’t deserve it, but we have to ‘forgive’ others because we deserve to be free of them!

Unforgiveness is one of the greatest bait of Satan and the reason why the dirty defeated devil wants you to hold onto that bitterness is because it is a poison to your soul and the enemy makes ‘unforgivness’ feel good to us. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy and that’s what exactly he does! Don’t let him do this to you …stop him dead in his tracks! Release yourself from those hurt feelings and let them go… stop holding onto those feeling and let the poison out of your soul!  Forgive and forgive ….until you are able to love your enemy and start praying for them and be excited to know that they are blessed more than you!

Forgiveness is not a feeling but a decision of the ‘will’ and one of the greatest gifts from God. He has told us to forgive and that He will give us the power to do so – but it all begins with the decision to do so.

It is nearly impossible for somebody who is flowing in the love of God to hold bitterness inside(John 14:23). The key to forgiving others  is to grow in God’s love! (John 13:34). I knew if I reach out to God and seek a deeper relationship with Him, He will draw near to me and I WILL find that deeper relationship with Him, and yes I did, and ‘forgiveness’ became more easier than before!

I pondered on all the great things my Awesome God has done in my life, even in my most sinful nature He saved me,  even to the point of death He proved His love for me… why would I then not want to forgive His creations?

But the toughest struggle began when I could not ‘forgive’ myself!  I said, I have to move on with Christ, if I don’t forgive my own self first I will not perceive to forgive others.  If i don’t forgive myself, it would be a pure form of pride and sin against God as it nullifies the power of Blood of Jesus. It took me years but forgiving myself have indeeded changed the direction of my life!

When we forgive, it opens us up to God’s forgiveness and it puts us in a receiving position when we pray. Forgiveness helps us to become spiritually fruitful and we will know that we have passed from spiritual death to being reconciled with our heavenly Father when we love each other. When we keep God’s commandments and love one another, we prove that we love Jesus and we abide in Christ’s love and become new creations!  What a magnificent blessing forgiveness really is!!!

Nothing annoys the enemy so much, than to know that they are forgiven, but I forgive them for the love of Christ!

Now I ‘forgive’ my tresspassers not because I’m weak and I’m giving up on them but I forgive them because I’m strong enough to know others can make mistakes they don’t know.

It takes a strong person to say ‘sorry’ but a stronger person to ‘forgive’!

The power of forgiveness is real and the gift is free!

The Called Qualification in Christ!

“He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began”  (2Timothy 1:9)

Whenever  I came across the topic ‘holy calling’, I used to be all excited and think that it means to heal others, to deliver others, to preach others, to do miracles, to be on the pulpit all the time etc etc.  and till today so patiently waiting for all those signs to appear so that I can say to the world …hey man I’m called!

Giving a second thought to the above I’ve come to a point and also believe that I was called long back even before I was placed in my mother’s womb …and all the ups and downs that I’m going through now is just the qualification trip!

There is a saying which goes around “The world calls the qualified but God qualifies the called”… There may be many notions to the above but in simple language you cannot qualify your own self to be called by God… but allow yourself to be qualified by Him by simply being what He has called you to be!

It is so much important to bring ourselves to a level to hear His holy whispers so that we know His holy plans and His holy purpose for our lives! It is not necessary to applaud God with empty by-hearted words all the time and let Him know you cause He already knows you better than your own self. Many a times it is truly worth to be silently on your knees and know Him better  …just trying to know what He knows about you, …your past mistakes, your slippery present and your perfect future … He alone can unfold it to you and allow you to be more better, brighter and beautiful!

I’ve learnt… I’m called to dwell in His presence and meditate on Him know Him more and more!

2Timothy 1:9 stresses that our Holy Calling is not according to our own works but according to His own purpose and grace. I was trying to know His purpose so that I can mend myself accordingly… just a simple thought strike my mind once again that the bible is written with God as center and center in God and that’s the reason the very first purpose of His would be that we should get away from constantly wanting to be in the center!

I’ve also learnt that it is not necessary to be a full-fledged positive attraction to be constantly & centrally  centered. We can be constantly in the center either by being frustrated at not being released into our so called ‘holy calling’ OR we can constantly be the center by being angry that no one understands or notices our ‘calling’ which we think we have,  OR we can really be the center just by being proud that we really have a calling! Either three ways we put ourselves first! …what a waste of time and energy.

I’ve learnt… I’m called to walk in humility to exercise patience and love!

God is a creator planner and designer of divine plans. He is concerned about us humans and is constantly thinking and working for our well being. Therefore the bible describes our God as a potter who makes various potteries out of clay. (Isaiah 45:9). Even before creating a clay bowl a potter plans ahead and molds the clay with his bare hands and a potter never makes anything unprepared.

As I meditated more and more on the above I knew I was just a clay and not the potter… being  a clay I could not fashion my own-self, nor I could not tell the potter about my dreams and imagination as what I want to be designed into, nor could I in any way reveal my desires to the Potter of what I have planned for myself to be created into!

I had to be dead to my desires & imaginations… simply meaning I just had to be a lump of perfect clay. And allow God to do what He wants, in the way He wants to do, and at the time He wants to do and through people whom He wants to do!

I’ve learnt… I’m called to die to I, Me, & Myself!

The path or the way or how you become what God has predestined you to be is the real qualification process called ‘sanctification’, which is the work of Holy Spirit in our life. No doubt sanctification itself is a huge topic if discussed. But when God sets us apart he gives us the helper (holy spirit) to overcome the struggles with past sins and obedience to God. In other words sanctification also means to prevent sin and produce spiritual growth.

Unfortunately service for God has become more important that having fellowship with God and fellowship with man has become more important than to have service to man – a defensive and a biased mechanism to do what each one wants to do thus hindering our own spiritual growth!

God commands us to pursue sanctification so that through it we may be blessed. If we read the history, what the Holy Spirit has done in Christian church, we will discover that the people God used were all imperfect, but they were all sanctified. Being sanctified does not mean being Perfect, …it simply means being dedicated!

I’ve learnt… I’m called to be dedicated and work out my own salvation through sanctification!

In Isaiah 48:10 says that God chose us in a furnace of affliction and refines us by trials. God never chooses us for His work when we were on the mountain top but in the valley. When I looked back to my life, 99% of my miracles came when I was in the valley and not on the mountain top.  Our Almighty God looks at uncompromised Christians under attacks by the enemy and says ‘I can use her/him as they did not compromise under the attack’. Some never get to the fire because they always had a compromised attitude.

The enemy loves a Christian going through trial but hates the trial of a true believer because that trial brings a believer more closer to Jesus! Through my own experiences in life trials are not for God to find out about our faith but for us to know more about our level of faith in Christ!  ‘For I will show him what great things he must suffer for My name’s sake’ Acts 9:16

I’ve learnt… I’m called to walk on the path of trials for His namesake and for my fullness of faith in Christ!

Last but not the least …we are called to follow Jesus Christ and His fullness! …no doubt, I am called to preach the gospel; but I am first and foremost called to live the gospel! Our entire identity stands and falls with the idea that as soon as we are saved, we need to go out and get others saved!  As soon as we start speaking in tongues we go and preach others about speaking in tongues which we have still not understood. A little bit of shaking and trembling is termed as anointing.

I realized how much I preach to others what Jesus has done, but I’ve never tried to do them! When we go to reap the harvest,  people are really not interested in what we preach and what we believe as Christians, people are more interested to know how we live! We tell the world what we should not do, but have we ourselves stopped doing them? To preach what Jesus has done is easy but to preach what WE have done because of Jesus in our life is so difficult. We need to be more occupied in being more like Jesus!

I’ve learnt… I’m called to be more like Jesus!
